Review: Isle of Dogs (No Spoilers)

By Angel

Movie description: “Set in Japan, Isle of Dogs follows a boy’s odyssey in search of his lost dog.”

Amazing film about loyalty and dogs! The animation was stunning and cinematography was breathtaking, I expected nothing less from legendary Wes Anderson. The original music made the story exciting and the song they used was very calming. I loved the plot, the boy wanted to simply find his dog, I completely related to him as I would do the same exact thing. I’d give my life for my dogs, that special connection was portrayed beautifully through this story. The personalities of the dogs were hilarious and extremely likeable. There was a solid plot twist that got me! The conflict was great and the character arcs of the humans and dogs were wonderful.

Dog is man’s best friend, loyalty and friendship can last an eternity.
