A breath of fresh air! I’m so happy that this movie managed to transcend asian stereotypes and shed positive light on a culture that hasn’t been portrayed fairly in traditional American media. The representation and inclusiveness is strong with this one. This movie was surprisingly funny, entertaining, and charming. It also encourages to believe that you are enough, never hide who you are, and to respect family.

There are some things your children need to learn on their own. When your children are away from home too long, they forget who they are. If we don’t pass down traditions, they will disappear. Play to win, not to not lose.
